Sky Hill Farm Work and Living Space for Artists
The Barn Studio
We converted the Barn into a dance studio, together with a wonderful team. Artistic residents have full access to the barn studio while they are here.
The barn is 75 ft. L x 40 ft. W. The dance space is 35 ft. L x 40 ft. W. The flooring is Harlequin Vinyl, covering a raised sub-flooring. There are also two 7 ft. ballet barres and one 6 ft. barre, two 6’x6’ portable Mylar Mirrors, a work table, and chairs.

Natural Environment
Artistic residents can lean into the support of this peaceful place during their creative process here.
Our house and barns sit on a 125 acre property. The property, with an elevation of around 1,650 feet is a half mile from the divide separating water that flows to the St. Lawrence from Chesapeake Bay.
We are excited to receive proposals for site-specific works which incorporate, respond to, or explore this area in new ways!

Living Space
Artists in residence live in the apartment which is attached to the farm house, and there are additional bedrooms and a bathroom available in the farm house. There are a total of 4 bedrooms, each with a queen size bed, and 1 bedroom with a double bed, available.
The apartment and farm house are directly across from the barn studio, which artistic residents use at their discretion.
